Here's the story of my path to faith.. |

Many of us associate our most deeply-held convictions with a single, life-changing experience. Others have always held certain beliefs sacred. In either case, it is important to talk about our experience and share our story or testimony.
I'll use this page to offer my testimony. For example, if a particular experience or event has been especially inspiring for me, I might recount that experience in detail. I might talk about how empty life felt before I found my way, or how my beliefs have allowed me to overcome obstacles such as drugs or alcohol.Well iam a christian and was saved on 19/4/2005.This is how i got saved ;
all my life i thought i was a christian because i went to church, read my bible , faithfully tried to serve God in many ways.I knew that that was all needed for someone to get saved. I lived a sincere life but was never saved, i even never knew that i was a sinner .I was lost in my sins , blinded by the god of this world not knowing that i was on my way to hell. But thank God he found me in time and brought a man into my life who showed me the scriptures and showed me how i could be saved.He showed me " All have sinned and come short of the glory of God ."( Romans 3:23) the bad news but also showed me the good news that" God commendeth his love toward us in that while we were still sinners christ died for us." (Romans5:8). He then led me to the Lord and i prayed to recieve Christ as my personal Lord and savior.
Ever since then i became a new creature in christ and God gave me the gift of eternal life.
This is how i was born and a little of the things that i have passed through:
Before i was born , my mother told me that i was not in the position where other babies nomally lie , i was just lying in space. Then i was born prematurely so i had to undergo some incubation for some good time. In my early stages i couldn't spend a week without getting an accident.I remember sometime my father was going for work in the morning and i told him to iron my shirt for me( i really liked being smart) because he was on a hurry and had to go for work he didn't iron for me. I never knew how to iron so what i did i got a flat iron, adjusted it to the maximum and started ironing the shirt on my body. Imagine what happened. I survived death narrowly. there are many other accidents that i encouted which i cannot tell but in all these God protected me. Iam living proof of the word of God whiich he spoke to prophet Jeremiah" even in thy mother's womb i iknew thee.". | |
I believe that the bible is the final authority in all matters of faith and pracise as the infallible divinely inspired word of God.I also believe that God's love is universal to all men and his grace is for all and that grace is the only way of salvation imparted to us only throught the Lord Jesus Christ.
Iam a loving , humble servant who has served in various disciplines in ministry like prison ministry and has seen God work in people's hearts , save and change lives; murderers, thieves ,thugs , fornicators,into responsible,faithful men of God. Surely I can boldly testify that " If any man is in Christ he is a new creature ,old things are passed away and all things are become new." (2Corinthians 5:17)
Iam a native of Mbarara a small town in Uganda the pearl of Africa , graduated from high school and iam currently Persuing a degree in Construction management at Makerere University , Kampala, Uganda. Iam currently also enrolled at World bible School in the area of Biblical studies.
My long-term goals include travelling all around the word with the good news of how Jesus saves, and a powerful Prison Ministry, teaching about the grace and the love of God and how he can change lives. My desire is that all people may get saved .
