We care

"For by grace are ye save dthrough faith and that not of yourselves it is the gift of God not of works lest anyman should boast" (Ephesians 2:8-9)

It says that good works cannot save anyone but a saved person will do good works because" we are his workmanship created in Christ Jesus unto good works which he hath before ordained that we should walk in them." (Ephesians 2:10). Some people I  have talked with say oh! Iam saved because i go to church ,try to do the best i can, pay tithe, and was actually born into  Christian family. But the Bible says that even those good works we do without christ are as filthy rags." But we are all as an un clean thing and our righteoussnesses as filthy rags ...."(Isaiah 64:6) So it is obvious that good works cannot take any one to heaven. What about keeping the ten commandments; " For by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight for by the law is the knowledge of sin." (Romans 3:20). So it is true that no one can go to heaven by keeping the whole law. Actually "whosoever shall keep the whole law and yet stumble in one point is guilty of all." (James2:10). What about being born into achristian family;" Except a man be born-again he cannot see the kingdom of God." (John 3:3) you must be born into the family of God by recieving Jesus Christ into your heart and life."But as many as recieved him to them gave he the power to become the sons of God even to them that believe on his name." (John1:12). We are only "saved by grace through faith and not of yourselves it is the gift of God , not of works lest anyman should boast."(Ephesians 2:8-9) and it is "  not by the works of righteousness which we have done  but according to his grace and mercy he saved us....." (Titus 3:5)

So "we conclude that a man is justified by faith without the deeds of the law." (Romans3:28)
